We had the best meal here during our stay in East Texas. We loved the live music and the character. Our steaks and hamburgers were perfect. The waitress was great and we really enjoyed visiting with the owner. Thanks for having us!
We ate here last weekend for our first time. We arrived early before the evening crowd. Bob greeted us at the door and showed us around the place telling us the stories behind each item and picture. The steaks were cooked to perfection and there is so much food, we had enough to eat on the next day. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend putting The Stockyards Steakhouse on your restaurant list. It is worth the drive.
Absolutely one of the best meals I've had in decades!!!! This place is worth a drive or flight for their wonderful meals. Large portions, steaks cooked correctly, will be back again!
What an amazing place. Our daughter-in-law was shopping around for a new place for all 6 of us to have dinner. She discovered this wonderful Steakhouse. Bob introduced himself & seated us at this table by the fireplace. Yes a wood burning, charming fireplace. Bob shared the history of the Stockyard Steakhouse. We all so enjoyed it. Reminded me of home. We all ordered fabulous steaks, that included baked potatoes, beans, salad & dinner roll. If that wasn't enough, we were all entertained by a charming young man that sang country music. We had such a great time! We will definitely be back.
This place is amazing!! The steak will make your tongue slap your brain and the meal is well worth every penny. Histological western atmosphere with down home southern charm waitress. I the most amazing steak dinner EVER! There isn’t a single bad thing I could say about this establishment. I have been in search of a true steakhouse for a few years, well the search is finally over. We had a party of six and sat by the large open fireplace with a spacious table and comfortable seating. I enjoyed the buckaroo cooked to perfection with all the fixings. It was hands down the best steak I ever had! The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I definitely will be returning soon!
We were greeted at the front door by Bob. He was an outstanding host and gave us a wonderful tour after we had ordered. The entire place, including the bathroom walls, was full of amazing pictures complete with history. Bob was quite a character! The steaks were juicy and delicious. Every meal comes complete with a salad, a large baked potato, a buttered diner roll, and a bowl of seasoned fiesta beans. Each entre was prepared to perfection. While dining we were treated to a vocal performance by a young artist. He was talented and has a variety of prepared songs.
